These are the works from my painting course during my time at Converse University. Fall 2023.

Black and White Still-Life

This was our first project in this painting course, we were learning the basics of oil painting.

This was our first project using color, we learned how to mix paint and color match.

Arbitrary Color Self-Portrait

In this project, we used the skills of value-matching arbitrary colors. This project was also painted on a self-stretched canvas.

Clowns and Plastic Fruit

This is our final project for the course, we were required to bring our own objects and create a still-life. I took inspiration from the classic Dutch paintings of the 1600s.
